A stranger Met my Need!
I say to you my reader and follower, do not be afraid or worry about anything- just believe it. Here it is, May it make sense to you as it did to me.
Mathew 6:25–34
25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one [a]cubit to his [b]stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not [c]arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
The last class sessions I attended early this year, we were taken through a session of Generosity of the Kings as one the recipes of leadership. To bring you to speed; this means being generous/ learning to give to God and His people. The reason you give is; 1) God loves a cheerful giver, 2) to open doors to your locked up blessings, 3) to break through into a certain level of growth. You have also heard that a hand that gives, receives .To make this session practical, we were given an assignment to go out earn, save and give on a daily basis -(Oh, this became a night mare for me). As if this wasn’t enough, to prove that we did the assignment, again, we were tasked to randomly pick a paper that had a name of one of the classmates to whom you/ we would give a gift, take a picture as proof and share it on our class main platform. It was up to you to do your FBI on the person and know what gift would meet a person’s need or melt his/her heart.
To cut the long story short, Expectations became very high as gifts started flooding the forum, people’s tastes and preferences kept changing, the noise on the forum would make you want to know who was to gift you so you would tell them exactly what you need. I personally wondered what my person would give me which wouldn’t break him/her but also mean a lot to me.
Yes, God works through people. This is when I realised that we worry about things we need when God has already sorted us but awaiting delivery- Mathew 6: 24–34 became a live in me. This Saturday, a thunder of joy, gratefulness and surprise struck my heart as my person (gift giver) landed at my house and to my shock, he opens his car boot to one of the main Items on my July purchase list. I became mute, run back to my bedroom to gain my senses in disbelief of how a stranger meets my perfect need.
So many times, my girl friends have longed for a moment to see me emotional; tried all tricks in vain but this surprise gift did not leave me the same as it squeezed my strato-cumulus clouds to rain. A stranger met my most needed item of the season.
You can never know how God will take care of your needs, Make a monthly list of your needs, present them to Him in prayer, be expectant with Faith, patience, Courage and strong belief that you will receive what you have asked for. He will make a way for you at that point of need.
Items in these pictures are some of the many gifts received/ given to the Kings/Queens randomly picked. Worry not about your life or anything, God is handling your situation.
