A wonder of when this day will be different from yesterday

This is a day that sucks me to talk about. I just do not like it !.. Well, I have no alternative other than living it, breathing it, hugging it, Kissing it off and holding it the way it comes. As a common saying goes -Change is a fact of life and If you do not change, Change will change you- in all you must change. I have finally accepted this change; to just have a day in and around my house which used to happen once in a week especially on Sundays before the monster hacked into this country though It was always sandwiched by going to Church for Mass.

Hope of a different day!

My day/ night (my day and night are more less the same) because my sleeping patterns have changed- I no longer sleep today, I keep sleeping tomorrow/ the next day- funny but true.

Day hours have not really changed from my normal work routine only that the location changed to my couch. I normally get out of bed between 09:00 am and 10:00 am depending on the schedule of the first meeting as per my Calendar .My 1st round of my eyes lids separation is usually 08:00 am; to Listen and share daily readings and devotion on some forums, pray and later throw away the warm blanket to be fresh for the day.

Jumping out of bed means running for a warm shower and in 10 minutes I am already seated in my well known office- the couch to log in for a meeting/ training/ catch up on zoom. These virtual meetings have been characterised by energisers so we are engaged fully without growing tired. They have an interval of 30 minutes to an hour and each Meeting/ training takes a minimum of an hour. As the host of the meeting waits upon other members to join in, I get a chance to prepare tea and very fast set up a table with break fast which leads to working tea while Listening and discussing. It does not take long before my husband comes in the same space (Living room) with his laptop to sit in for his meetings too. The house has not gotten a silent day since the lock down, It will either be a zoom call or a work related phone call that will keep the walls alert. some times lunch is taken during meetings; you may wonder when it is prepared but somehow multitasking takes precedent most of the days.

By 04:00 pm, the day is being wrapped up with office work but with a long list of to do before the next follow up meeting. we now start to think of an evening walk to stretch, on days that have been loose a bit but on the tight days, we opt for skipping a rope instead of a walk.

Tallies according to who wins a game as playing cards goes on.

Between 07:00 pm and Midnight, watching local news, working on individual assignments- a pick up from the to do list of items compiled during day but also being a student comes in to catch up with a minimum of 10 pages of a book in preparation for a synopsis at the end- this takes about 2 to 3 hours of the night, having a simple dinner, playing cards or watching a movie and watching international news as our last item to shade off the daysโ€™ stress and connect with world as we welcome the now morning happenings of the local time.

The berth has consistently seen its occupant (s) in wee hours just because of the same routine in mind as per the start of this blog. This is how my day/night lock down looks like.
